Yes, you did do well. Nice smooth blends, well chosen colour schemes. One thing though, it looks like you have one strong light source, natural light maybe? If you can diffuse that light or have a number of lights so as to not get that strong shadow, that would help. I don\'t know enough about photography so I\'ll leave that up to someone else to advise.

Welcome to CMoN.

The ork is really really nice. The other one though looks very flat in the pictures (which are very small so hard to judge). It looks like it could use at least another couple layers of highlights.

the rackham lord is pretty darn good. i love the gold nmm on it. the grey metal could be pushed more on the blade. a solid 7.5.... however to ensure a better score i would reccomend resubmitting it just a bit larger.

as for the orc......i am just not feeling it with that one. the colors seem to close to the same tone and nothing on it seems to pop. i feel if you adjusted the levels on the skin over the gun and blade to a brighter tint it could dramatically improve your score.

You are right DaN he is a n00b! More so by being my younger brother :flame:

You need to use photoshop on my computer to edit your ork picture better.

Hehe, thanks DaN and fists of mortis :)

For the other comments, thanks for the kind words, I will try and get better pictures of them both with better lighting.

I may add more highlights to the rackham one day, but for now I will leave it.
I\'m not quite sure how the slugga looks like the skintone of the ork however. To me, the slugga is a yellow colour and the skin is dark, earthy green.

what i meant was that the tonal quality of them are very similar. hope that helps. it causes the eye to get lost in the piece. work on distinguishing tonal and tint affects to work for you and not against. if you are still unclear on what i am talking about, check out some stuff on color theory on wikipedia.
