I'm a fan of anything with evil dead references. I like the vibrant colour scheme, and also how you took the belly colour and used it around the eyes to tie to two areas together. I also like how you used yellow on the teeth as a contrast to get them to stand out from the blue/violet.

The color choice is quite interesting. I also like the weathered gun barrels and the freehands you've painted so far. I don't know at what stage the mini is at but the skin could use some more shadows and overall contrast. It seems you used an airbrush at the beginning to spray the blue. At this stage you could also try to block in some shadows with the airbrush (on the next mini of course ^^ would be dangerous to try it at that stage since you would probably hit some other areas like the gun barrels or the legs.)
Also important -> Darklinings to increase depth and readability of the mini.
If you were already planning to do that but not at the stage during the wip yet then I have not much to add other then keep up the good job, looks good so far

Thanks for the lovely comments and for telling me how to improve this mini! Will try to darken some areas like you said to make it stand out more.

Here is a quick GIMP sketch for orientation. The most important planes to shade are those facing downwards. For both colors purple makes a good shadow color.
Make sure to use thin glazes to blend the shadows in. If you have more squigs to paint like this you can also add the shadows with the airbrush after you laid down your base colors. Thin the shadow color down so it builds up slowly. This way you have more control and the blends with airbrush will be super smooth.
I also added some highlights, for example on the chin to pronounce the edge and add more definition to the shape.

Welcome to the forum, that is a super cool paintjob you've got there. I don't think I've seen a hot pink squig like that yet, it looks great.
