Here's a few more recently painted minis (pretty large minis for sure) and this Ghorgon and Cygor damned near sent me batty with the amount of skulls collected about their person. There are more views on the votey pages.

Yeah, there are a few joins I didn't fill which seem to show way more on the photos than in reality, but I'm still fairly OK with it, as these aren't intended to be showcase standard.

Skulls, my dreams will be filled with them. Gaaargh! ;) So perhaps that's why I've not gone to sleep yet. Stayed up and when any normal person would have been thinking about sleep I got painting. Bashed out this Eldar Phoenix Lord in... oh, probably about 3 and a bit hours, maybe four. A nice break from the big guys who took much longer. Tired now though.

Love that eldar fella. Like the pj of the big guys but a couple of details could do with some darklining to make them stand out (fingers, skullz etc)

Yeah, you're probably right about the darklining to make things pop a bit more. I can't imagine the same will be said of this next guy though, who I just finished up. Quite the opposite sort of look. Quite a comic book feel to this chap I think.

You are a serious paint machine!

OUt of curiousity, what is the little white signature mark on the back of the base? Your initials?

Yeah, JG = James Griffiths. It's a sign of how long the Chaplain remained almost finished, as I don't initial my bases any more.

Well, I knew we shared a first name, but apparently we also share our initials.

I'm JG= James Gilstrap. James Edward Gilstrap in fact...

Just thought it was curious!

I like to sign my minis on the bottom of the base.

Edward's my middle name too so we are both JEGs. Curiouser and curiouser!

I don't bother with the signing any more. Perhaps on ones I plan on keeping I'll add my mark.

I just blasted through painting a Wight King in less than two hours, so I have my speed back now. Hurrah! It's not the greatest of jobs, but for the time it took I'm fairly chuffed. It's gone 3am though, so no photos tonight.
