Miniature Display Cases.

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some ideas on either buying or making some miniature display cases.

Does anyone have some good ones that they can recommend?

I do carpentry and could build some if it comes down to it.

I am looking for something in wood that goes on the wall...

What would be an ideal size, shelf spacing, glass door, etc???

Just curious what everyone’s input is?

Then that\'s probably your best option. As then you can suite your own tastes.

There are no hard and fast rules as we all have differing sized mini/dioramas in our collections.
Mine is wall mounted 4\'x3\'x6\" allowing a greater space on the lower shelves for taller figures.

One Option I used was to get a cheap fish tank, and make a nice base for it to sit on flip it upside down over your mini\'s and it works just fine ... keeps the dust out of them and lets you look at them fine

Aside from that I recommend making your own. It provides plenty of freedom to create what you want.

The big problem with a lot of the pre-made ones is that they only open from the back of the case making it impossible to place flush against a wall and usually not very useful for a home.
