Mini-a-Week project

Hi folks,

Just plugging my own ongoing Mini-a-Week project for the people not familiar with it. Last July, I started painting or sculpting one miniature a week. . . I\'ve managed to make it 33 weeks so far, maybe because of the threat of public embarassment. ;)

Go take a look if you\'d like; I\'d welcome any comments. If you\'d like to play along, send me a page to link to. There aren\'t any weekly miniature police, so you\'re welcome to give it a shot with no repercussions if it doesn\'t quite work out. :)

I once started doing it too...

... but had to stop, fearing I\'d loose mi sanity. Thankfully my dog talked me out of it. :bouncy:

Trade????

okay, I\'ll tell you what. I have been so busy, that I will take you up on your deal, \"if, and only if in addition to yourself, you hand over all data concerning the project called... Genesis\"
Actually, the minute I get my Crappy Mini or Not submission from you, I will start your Mini of the Week campaign!
I mean, at present I only get one done in a week on a pretty lazy week. I figure I could do two a week, and maybe three if everyone is nice to me :D
BTW, sorry for the Khan tangent there... just a small instability I have sometimes ;)

Hey!

I would be thrilled to put up a page on my site for the mini-a-week project. Actually I do about two \"character\" minis per week on average. I will send you a link in the next little while after I get it set up on my site with the next update. Would that be okay?

That is if you\'ll have me???
Peace!

Don\'t forget, jppatton says he\'s painting or SCULPTING 1 miniature a week.

I think that\'s impressive.

I can paint one competition quality miniature in a week, but would probably have to take the next week off.

As it is, I\'m painting almost every night and am being very productive. I\'ve managed 6 Warhammer Orcs in 9 days, and have put 2 days into 1 unit (6 stands) of Warmaster Black Orcs. I expect I shall have them finished in another 2-3 days.

I think I just might try this. I\'m working on one now that I\'d hoped to get done in a week, maybe it\'ll be the first. I need some way of fighting the effects of the winter blahs on my creativity (In general, the niceness of the weather is directly proportional to my desire to sit down and paint... until it gets so nice that I want to sit on the patio with a beer that is!)

Hey Joel, could you update the address to my site in your links page? It\'s now www.ppdigital.com/darthfoley

Thanks!

Thanks for the input, folks.

Glyn, you\'ve got me over a barrel. . . how long have I been promising you a crappy mini? :)

Angela, go for it -- again, there\'s no enforcement. I didn\'t realize anybody would want to join in initially. :)

Coyote, that sounds pretty good. Even as I\'m learning a lot, my paint jobs have sometimes suffered individually as a result of the project. My sculpts aren\'t really up to scratch to begin with, so the learning curve is immensely satisfying. :)

NSA, it\'s been a good way to amuse myself in a Pennsylvania winter. . . it also gives me something productive to do while I watch cartoons.

DF, I\'ll change you over at the next update. . . .

Thanks everybody, and sorry for the delay -- I\'ve had a bit of trouble accessing CMON from home.
