microwaving fimo

Has anyone tried to cure the FIMO in the microwave oven ?
What\'s the result?

Funny that they don\'t seem to care that the strips warped.
If you are making a ball it\'s fine, otherwise....

Still, seems like a test worth trying at home with sculpted clay.

I have worked with fimo before and dont think microwaving will work by it self. But I believe if you put the piece in water, fully submerged, you could get away with it. I have poured boiling water over some of my stuff for a \'quick cure\'. You can also cook them with a hair dryer.
