mediums

i was wondering what brand of mediums (blending medium, glaze medium, etc.) you guys use.

I only use one medium, an \"acrylic painting medium\" by schmincke. Says it \"increases gloss and transparency\", and I have found that it also slows drying time considerably and my paint seems to flow a little better. I tend to overdose though.

I use Rayher \"Ultra Gloss Effekt Medium\" which gives perfectly shining effect on gems.

I regularly use my own concoction of \"Magic Wash\" (12.5% Future Floor Finish, 12.5% Liquitex Extender, 75% distilled water). Recently, I\'ve been playing around a bit with the Vallejo Matte Medium, and have to say that I kind of like it. The Vallejo Glaze Medium, on the other hand, has become completely indispensible for my painting.

I just started using the Vallejo Glaze Medium myself. Still trying to figure it out.

25% golden flo-aid
25% golden slo-dri
50% airbrush medium

but when this batch runs out or I get the urge worse, I am going to try some glazing meduims.
