Material Question

In several 40k books, like Dark Eldar (Lining a trench) or Ork (Attached to the sides of an Orky fort,) you see a material that looks like a cheese grater pattern. What is that, and where do I get it?

are oyu talkin about a sheet with holes punched in it? if so, you can get metal from harware shops like that. for cheaper (but less durable) and smaller holes, you can get card with mini holes in. i think it\'s used for sewing patterns or something. got mine in a haberdashery by all the sewing stuff

Could also be simple window screen.

Not familiar with the pictures you are talking about, so I can only guess.

Tule (I think thats how its spelled) from a fabric shop also can be used.

i think tule is the fabric stuff used for patterns. it\'s cotton or something woven into a sort of net. the stuff i am on about is cardboard with nice circular holes. best option is to go and have a nose at whats available. if you\'re still stuck you can always ask. number of times i have tried to describe something to a puzzled shop keeper....
