when painting your marines, do you paint before or after the standard gun is glued on...since it does block most of the chest, i\'m going to try doing a squad without them for once. see if they turn up any better than my old ones.

it depends what you are painting them for.If they are display id paint befor sticking.If its for gaming i wouldnt bother id just stick and then paint

Well I play marines and have painted a lot of them both for gaming and display. My advise: Glue on the arm supporting the gun (the left one from the marine side) and dry fit the gun-holding arm. That way you can paint the marine without any details being obscured, but the still know exactly how the gun will be positioned later.

Tend to get everything in position, drill and put in any pins, but not glue them until the body is done. Blue tak/unglued pins if I want to hold them in place just. Depends if will bother you though, they\'ll look fine unless very closely inspected, yet knowing there are unpainted bits just irks me somewhat personally.
