I\'m starting a dred For the Luna\'s.
Since he\'s Venerable should I paint him first company black or luna white?
I also have an Inferno and plasma cannons

Havent got a clue about the fluff on the Lunar Wolves, but what is the close combat weapon in the first pic? It looks well cool!

Horrible weapon if your hiding in a bunker, its a 2+d6 armour penetrator, and then an automatic heavy flamer attack on the inside of the building, plus anything else he has.

But it depends on which company you are going to attach him to, as to which paint scheme to use.

But I would go with the white with black trim, so the plates on the front I would go with a white core, then a black heavy rim, then a gold plate for the edging piece, really make it stand out.

I wanna get me one of those flashy new dark angels dreads, they look too badass not to have.

If it\'s a Luna Wolf dread. how is it venerable. They were only around for like 100 years before they gave in to chaos? Unless you are just using the game stats for venerable. Is 100 years \"venerable\" for SM\'s? I don\'t know.

I dont mean to sound rude, but I really don\'t get what the thing on top is supposed to be... It does look good otherwise, still needs some work (washes on the metallics would really help).

philologus: the great crusade was several centuries long when horus rebelled, so it it quite possible to have had a venerable dreadnought at that time.

its not a veteran marine that makes it a venerable dreadnought, its the amount of time and actions that the dreadnought has been around for. so basically its a veteran dreadnought.

as for the topknot, maybe raise it up abit so that its more like what abaddon has on his head.

other than that its looking good.

Yep wash the metal (try black and brown ink + water mix) and try out some highlight on the black areas, think it would bring it more to live with out a lot of work.
