I like it, particularly the metals they look awesome. The base is great too.

my only critique is, and this is purely personal, that the model overall seems kinda busy. For me I believe a model should have a definite focal point. But Overall it still looks really awesome.

Great painting, you\'ve obviously put a lot of time in this.

The base is great too, but I think it\'s a bit too good. What I mean by that is that the entire setting isn\'t really balanced. Your miniatures is kinda detailed and complicated, but the base is much bigger and even a bit more detailed. I think this model could benefit from a smaller, more simple base, to draw the attention to the figure immediately (a bit like monkeysplitters said).

I voted an 8.

Glad to hear it.

As for the figure it is rather a complex figure so a reduced colour scheme and subdued colours for the basing might be more suitable.

thanks

thanks

hehe, yeah i always get busy with my pieces, blam john balanche..LOL.

its always frustrating to me..cause the photos never do my pieces justice. i even used my wife\'s bad ass $2600 nikon d80 and it did better but the proportions always come out looking weird?? ahh well you get the idea. =)

i wanted a very alien feel to perturabo, kinda borg on crack!! i feel i got it. i never really go for a real look, as my wife says these guys are not capable of actually combat..yeah probably not..LOL

wait till you see corax....he\'s gonna kill ya!! LOL. he\'s falling into the realm more like my sanguinius, less busy, more pretty. a lot of blacks, golds and purples.

as for the cancer. i\'m good, its been in remission for over year-1/2 now.

again thanks.
paint well.
