Most Canon Powershots are great little cameras with good lenses and a macro setting that is good for taking pics of minis. I personally use a 7 year old Powershot A40 for my pics.

Well I want a digital camera just not an SLR. I dont want to be changing lenses and all that. I just want to have an easy to use camera with a really good macro. I have alot of painted minis but never had a camera so never posted any online. Now I want to show them off.

i thought it was a non digital you wanted (thought it was a strange request in this dat n age), i use my samsung tocco ultra camera phone its 8 mega pixels plus it has a macro for up close and you get the photo suite disc, hope this helped, good luck with your shopping.

I'm in the market for a point-n-click too. I've been told, on several occasions, that Canon makes one of the best out there. Canon is actually a camera company, so making a quality camera is what they do best. I was contemplating a Sony but after doing a little research I realized that the comparable Canon model is a better bang for your buck.

Macro is just a close focusing function. With any camera produced in the last few years, you can take a good mini pic at 18" and crop to the right size. I personally like Sony and Canon (in that order) for P&S cameras.
