Looking for Plasticard

I\'m looking for some plasticard for some tank convershuns, but I can\'t find any in any of my local art shops, including Hobbycraft. (The staff look at me like I\'ve made the stuff up in my own crazy head)

Anyone know of anywhere in the Manchester area I can get my hands on some or an online shop?

Ebay is the greatest thing ever invented, if it exists you can get it on eBay cheap. Look for it and if you get no results for plasticard, try for styrene sheetes instead. Cheers!

Hobbycraft

Hi,

I went to my local hobbycraft in Reading and they had an abundence of plasticard,

It was infact a modellers heaven,

My advice would be, go back to your local store and speak to a manager/supervisor,
not some spotty geek who dosent have a clue,

Failing that i can get some and post to you if you like of ask for a store transfer,

Cheers Iain.

Thanks. There does seem to be some on Ebay, but the muppets are charging nearly as much again for postage.

Bignastyshark (what kind of shark?), which section did you see it in? Was it in the model section ( ie Airfix, trains and Scalextric)? Or with the paper and (normalish) card?

Granddad!
You should be able to get it from any scale model, R/C, or railway model shop without the bother of postage :D
Trylon have it in the vacform section in a variety of thickness and color

Cheers Mick. It also has the elusive model foam available.
(p.s the muppet coment wasn\'t intended for any ebay retailers on here  )
