GD UK will be taking place at the NEC in Birmingham this year, I\'m not sure how far away that is from the NIA but thought I\'d pass on the info for ya :)

Hi Maggot nice to see you in the forums gal. The NEC is a good way from the NIA as that is central Birmingham and the NEC is next to the airport it does have a good rail link and also has some decent hotels around it though.

Thx, guys, waiting for more info. It would be great. NEC is the National Exhibition Center, right?

@Avicenna
No, I don\'t hate\'em, only bash\'em for their prices and some other things:D BUT, that is not going to prevent me from trying to win something (or maybe just win lol).

Yes the NEC is the National Exhibition Centre, there are a couple of very good hotels close by if I remember rightly they mainly serve the airport but I am told that they are very good.

Actually, there isn\'t any info \'bout this year GDUK yet, but I want to know earlier, cause I have to book air tickets from Warsaw to London, then to Bgham and book a room in some hotel there.

Oh but you can take a GW coach! I was considering staying at a hotel last year but then decided to go with a coach -- the most trouble you get is to call up a taxi to get you to the coach. Very convinient. And cheaper than a train ticket to Birmingham + hotel room.

Can you explain what this is, Margo?
I\'m afraid I don\'t understand the meaning.
It can\'t be a bus or a personal trainer, I\'m sure :)

Well in this case....Imagine filling a bus with 50 odd GW customers....and then leaving them in that bus for 3 hours or so, smells and all!

I can\'t stand in the shop for 10 minutes quite often, let alone sit on the bus! But for people who want a cheap way to get to GD, its available!
