Loads of Necrons (and a giant)

So, I've been pretty busy of late getting a crap load of Necron bits painted up. I seem to have misplaced some of the rank and file blokes, otherwise I'd have them done too, but this little lot ain't a bad start. There's also a giant, which is a conversion from an old one that I had done.

Like the giants. Necrons warriors, to be honest, are a little bland-looking because they look like other metallic necrons. I have to say I like the smooth contrast on the panels of the barges. Looks like it's been airbrushed, correct?

I like all of them, especially the Necrons who have that age feel about them. Looks like they've been fighting for far too long and are angry about that.

The Giant looks fantastic.

i like the necrons - solid army work. the only thing that bothers me is the big mold line on the weapons platform thing. the giant is solid, but i have never been a fan of that model. i, too, need to knock out some groups so that they can see the light of day. keep posting and painting!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The Necrons are never going to be spectacular really, they are just done to a decent gaming standard and being Necrons, unless I was going to take a lot longer on them they were never going to look utterly unique. The vehicles had some colours laid down with an airbrush first, then I did some extra work after.

I've actually painted a load more models since - 10 Grey Knight Interceptors, 5 Paladins, Castellan Crowe, a Wood Elf standard bearer and an Exalted Vermin Lord. Not photographed them yet, but that's over 40 models in less than 3 weeks. I'm pretty bloody chuffed with that pace. :)

Although I guess the Vermin Lord was almost done already, so perhaps he shouldn't count, although the bits I had left to do were still much bigger than a standard single mini.
