Linking Photos

I am using a Macbook Pro laptop and want to know how I can link several photos together to make one. You have seen them, the ones on the gallery where they have rotational views of one figure in one photo. Also the ones where you have a main photo then loads of close ups.
i don't have the option of spending cash on this, I would like something free if possible.
If someone can help a technophobe please ?

if you want a free software, then gimp ( http://www.gimp.org/ ) is what I'd suggest.
It has most (if not all) the needed features of photoshop. (canvas size modification, copy-paste between images, color corrections, crop)

Photoshop CS2 is an outdated version of PS that was made 100% free. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of newer versions, but it has everything you need to make photo collages for CMON. It's what I use. LINK

good to know. I still use an old PS6 (about 3 versions older than cs2)

Unfortunately my MAC won't allow me to download it as its not a recognised Apple product.
