Land Raider concept

Here\'s an idea I\'ve been working on for a Chaos land raider I might do. I\'m an amature at sculpting so... What materials and stuff do you think I should use? I\'ll post a WIP of the actuall model when I get it. Thank you.

for the \"boxes\" on the track guards I\'d use plasticard, mouth on the side and the paws would be green stuff of white stuff if it were my call.
Its hard to determine how you want the face in the front to look but if it is like I imagine it id recommend building up a basic(and i mean really rough) shape in plasticard and/or sprue bits.

Is the part on the roof supposed to be a cauldron of some sorts?

use what ever putty you prefer. i would use gs and magic sculpt but it has to be something you can work with

I agree with Freak, only reason I said Gs and Ws is that i use them myself. Perhaps try a few brands out and see what you prefer?

Are you thinking of using the Dark Elf Cauldron of blood model then? Or will it be scratched?

New idea for face, looks more demonish instead of orkish.

Good idea about the dark elf cauldron. I think it would work good as long as it fit rite.

Last year I did a NURGLE LANDRAIDER

From the WIPs you can see I used plastic card, Green Stuff, Grey Stuff ( Same as Green except it\'s white and black and a little less sticky), A&B Putty( cream colour ) and pink insulation board.

With the head, you can bulk it out with pink board and layer in the putty. Saves alot of money on putty.

Hope this can give you some ideas.
