ooops, damn enter key!

I tell ya it\'s tough when GW takes A pic of yer mini.

Usual business of over exposed white washed outta focus, unflatering close ups from bad angles.

Lending futher need for the use of the term \" Better in Hand \" :)

The group LOTR was insane, the pic is so poorly done. each mini was converted and PIMP but, one little shot? Shame on GW.

I think since L.A. was the last show of the season everyone could not wait to wrap up and go home hence these pics.

Also \" WHERE IS, \" DIRTY \" Steve Fuller the photo master?

In the past the pics have been a little too bright but, you gotta set up to shoot many different models so it\'s understood.

these pics are real bad.......

Oh well I will have to say in the description \" Pro Painted & Better in Hand ;)

I count eight photos of the LOTR Group, and the photos look pretty good to me - they look about 200% give or take which seems pretty standard for CMON.

The pictures are a little bright and on the reddish side. Other than that, I think they did a pretty good job. BTW Dirty Steve has not been with the company for a year or so.

As for the judging, it is what it is. I was just happy to be there and actually finish some models. I\'m sure if it was any of us doing the judging, the winners would have been a little different but there still would have been second guessing. I had a great time and I\'ll be back next year!

I\'m not sure it\'s really out of proportion, it\'s just that it isn\'t in heroic scale like the normal ones are.

It\'s out of proportion for GW, in proportion for real life. It\'s hard to tell which scale is important these days. ;)

The photo of my Pirate Ogre is really washed out, it\'s a night time piece and it looks like broad daylight. I\'ll have to try and take some better photos this weekend and get them up. Great job all, it was a quality turn out, and great competition!!!

I was really impressed with your stuff this year Matt. Anthonys stuff is getting really good as well. Do you two live near each other? There are a lot of up and commers who will make the competition very tough next year. I\'m really looking forward to it!

Thanks Aaron. Yeah Anthony and I live pretty close. We meet up at local game stores once in a while and get in some painting.

LA gets better and better each year, next year the competition will be more than nuts! lol

that\'s probably because most of them are painted in the American style, they have more contrast and gooey on their minis, when UK Spain And france work more realistic, Especially France and Spain!
