Knockback and remaining engaged

Hello,

I had question about knockback. Suppose your model is base to base with an enemy model, and that enemy model is base to base with their friendly model. You use an action that has Knockback against the enemy model you are in base contact with, the enemy model gets "knocked back" into their own friendly model (base to base, enemy model suffers 1 melee attack), do the enemy models actually get moved 2 inches? or do they both remain in the same/original location?

X - Your model, base to base, with enemy model 1
O - Enemy model 1, base to base with your model AND enemy model 2
0 - Enemy model 2, base to base with enemy model 1

If X knocks back Enemy model 1 into Enemy model 2, do both models get knocked back?

Supposed Enemy Model 1 is an Ashmen, will Act of Certainty Trigger? Assuming, no Crits and remaining in Base to base contact with Friendly Model.

Thanks in advance, sorry for the confusion.

Only the model hit by the Knockback is moved and only the model that stops the model hit by the Knockback takes the additional melee hit. In this example both models stay where they are.

Knockback (x): Before results are generated, each enemy targeted by this attack is forced (x)”away. If that enemy’s movement is stopped byanother model the model stopping it suffers a[1][Rate] melee attack

The first enemy would not be physically moved, as its movement would be stopped by Enemy model 2 (who would suffer the 1[Rate] melee attack). If it were an Ashman, who was killed by the attack, it would indeed be able to perform Act With Certainty, as it is only engaged with 1 enemy at the time of its death.
