I had the Barracks in wave 1. I have a damaged Ranger with Titain armor fallowed by a Militia with Vendicator armor and 2 naked Militia.
I was using the bug add on.
The ranger was a 2/2 and traded with a gore misquito. The vindicator armor fought and traded with the bug that gets pluses for bugs that died before it.
I used the vendicator damage on the first face down bug and it killed my 2 remaining troops without flipping up.
It was obviously 1 of the new bugs that damages the first couple troops, but it should flip up for a moment before it goes to the graveyard.
