Hi CMONers!
Currently I am finishing Khador army. Started two - three years ago, but most models are done now aftera long break. It is aprox. 50 points army, most of models are done or almost done, need only finishing touches, bases, varnishing and so.
For the beginning models that are done.

Widowmakers
Done at the start, 3 years ago. You can see them on CoolMiniOrNot here
They were also show in CoolMiniOrNot Annual 2008. Quite nice :)

Sorscha
Painted on last month, one of three casters

Irusk
Also done in last days, a little different color than Sorscha, not so vibrant as she.

Kodiak
Done three years ago, only refreshed now. One of two warjacks, second is Behemoth, but he needs finishing touches and pictures

And family photo

This is only part of the force. There would be also:
- Behemoth,
- Drakhun (both mounted and on foot),
- Uhlans and Kovnik
- 14 Assault Kommandos
- Two Manhunters (female and male) and Yuri the Axe
- Vlad
some of them you can see on the last picture. I will post new photos as soon as I will be finishing them in next few days.
Let me know what do you think, feel free to ask questions or tell any suggestions.

the reds are stunning, lovely and vibrant a great contrast to the green squad, keep up the excellent work, more pics of the rest would be awesome :)

Sorscha, many cochinilla bugs were harmed to bring you this armor! I love your infantry, the blend from top to bottom, and you manage to keep the entire model very close in color and still bring out the details.

Thanks guys!
as a thanksgiving more pictures ;)

Third caster is Vlad. Painted also at the borth of army, 3 years ago, so it looks little different, but thanks to this all three casters are characteristic. His cape is brown now, and I am considering adding some freehands on it, maybe you guys have suggestions?

Another part of pictures. Almost everything is done. There are "only" Uhlans and Kovnik to do (currently on the desk) and upgrade of all bases at the end. In the meantime ... :
Manhunter - Awful sculpt of arms, I tried to do something with that, but the proportions are .. uhh :]
manhunterdouble.jpg

Drakhuns - both mounted and on foot. Not so easy to paint two models to be exactly the same :)
drakhuns.jpg

and closer look for both models

Kommandos, two units, 14 men total and closer look on one of two captains

Finally the biggest one, Behemoth. It was veeeeery hard to assemble him in that pose, but it was worth doing it.

Like I wrote before there are Uhlans and Kovnik waiting in the queue on the desk, I hope I will finish them in a few days and then .. it will be listed on eBay. It was this army destiny when I started painting it three years ago. If you want to see some more please check out my blog, there are more pictures of this force and some more info, and it will be even more for sure

Really is a lovely collection, this standard for a whole army is just superb.

Could you let us know the colours / recipe you used for the green, it really works well!

...Could you let us know the colours / recipe you used for the green, it really works well!

It is colour from Model Master palette. I forgot the exact name, but there are a lot of similar colours in every palette used to paint uniforms from World War II. You can also achieve something very similar by mixing Goblin Green with black, eventually highlighting with Bleached Bone and/or Camo Green, all from GW palette.
Browns are added using various brown inks and washes (not matter which one exactly) and mainly by finishing with brown pigments.
I hope it explains a bit.
In generally when I paint I don't stuck to one palette scheme or colour mix. Most important is the final effect and it can be achieved in many ways ;) I think that it is even better if different units vary a bit .

At last! The army is completed. Some other, more important projects interupted my schedule so it took two months to show you final pictures. Advantage is that during this time the army "earned" a display stand. I have also managed to take better pictures, showing colors more accurately. Black background and daylight seems to work better showing hues of red. If you want to vote feel free to visit my CMON gallery, there are all of pictures showed below.
here we go :

and Kommander Sorscha Kratikoff:

Display base is simple, it is rather unplanned bonus ;)
colors may look a bit strange on some of the pictures, it is hard to make good pictures of such big thing. I will try to make better pictures with artificial light later.
