Anyone use htis stuff? Was tempted to buy some. but not sure if i want to shell out the money for them.

Unlike an ink-water mixture, the surface tension of Magic Sauce is much lower and this allows the pigments to reach cracks and crevasses with ease. Ink-water mixture would leave unsightly “rings”, pigments gather around the edge of the water bead. With Magic Sauce, you will be able to achieve a smooth transition with the darkest color in the deepest crevasse.

Sounds like a wash with a drop of diswashing soap added to it -


Might have to try that tonight and see how it works out actually.

when making a wash i simply add 4 drops of water, 1 drop of soap, and 1 drop of the paint i want to be the wash?

You don\'t need that \"magic sauce\" thing... if you can\'t use plain water only, then adding a drop of soap (like you mentioned) or dish washing liquid (like someone else mentioned) will do the trick.
