Hi folks I am currently entering the fabled realm of Johnsons Klear and airbrushing! Do you folks have any tips that would be helpful to a novice airbrusherer!! :)

Also Iv noticed that the formula has changed recently and it will soon be named "pledge something or other"!! It was a clear liquid and its now a thickish opaque brown/yellow - will this have much of an effect on glazes etc and does it still work aswell as before? hearing from someone who has experienced both formulations would be a great help as i dont want to ruin any of my models - again :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Kindest Regards

Chris

Spraying a light but wet coat might be the best way of applying it, but you have to be careful not to spray on too much to avoid runs and sags. Luckily it dries relatively slowly so it's not an instant disaster if you do get it on a bit heavy in one or two areas - it can be blown off with just air through the AB, wicked off using the edge of a clean tissue working towards an edge, or even shaken off.

I've seen comparisons (done by very worried modellers!) and they said the new type performs just like we're used to thank goodness. The colour in the container doesn't seem to matter in the thin coats used in the hobby.
