My latest work is Jhureen Hecatha, Satyxis Raider from Privateer Press\' Iron Kingdoms range.
The choice of colors was a bit of an accident. I once saw a miniature using Tanned Skin and Blue Liner for the skin, resulting in a nice blueish grey. Originally I wanted to try something similar but I used Blue Ink instead of the Liner. The result is the greenish-blueish color you can see on her. Not exactly what I had planned but i decided to stick with it and the rest evolved from there. The result is a miniature using a very different pallete compared to what I usually do - I am not entirely sure I like the result but it was definitely an interesting experiment and a good learning experience
Please, take a look and decide for yourself: >> Jhureen Hecatha, Satyxis Raider <<
I really want to improve my painting so any comments, tips or critic are appreciated
