Yeah, I am one of the lucky owners of \"The Return of The King Collector\'s Edition\" :D

I\'ll watch the extended version during the weekend and watch the 2 bonus disks too, and also the 5th disk about the music of LOTR.

In the box there was that:

tirith_preview01.jpg

and a coupon to order this one, too:

i spent a good part of my incomes for this month, but i could not let them go :innocent: could I ?

They\'re My Precioussssssssssssssssss

Well my extended edition is just waiting christmas to be opened. :p
THose thing look nice but I think that it\'s one of those things that looks nice when you get it and that just looks bulky after 2 weeks. Well in my case that whats happens often  but I bet they\'ll look nice on a gaming table (if they\'re the right scale :D

Very cool.

I cannot imagine those things being very big, but you never know.

Of course, I\'ll have to spend the money on the extended version of the movie.....

The extended version is very good with so much more footage added in. It is a shame they didn\'t film the correct ending but I suppose you cannot have everything. The Minas Tirith piece is a trinket box and when you take the top part off the base has a felt insert with the white tree of Gondor pictured on it. And yes I have sent off for my Minas Morgul trinket box oohhhh yeesssss preciousss we have it\'s ours ours it iss.

I don\'t think the collectable pieces are big enough for use with minis, but they\'d make a good backdrop for photos.

I\'m not getting the special collector\'s edition, just the extended edition. I have to wait until Christmas to watch it, though. My fiancee forgot to hide the box so it was providing a lot of temptation last night.
lol

I did see the Minas Tirith thing last night at the store. It would be small for even Warmaster scenery.

I was going to buy the \'extended version\', but it was all sold out, and I didn\'t really want to shell out the extra bucks for the collectors edition. Plus my wife kept giving me dirty looks as I was browsing over it..... :D

The Minas Tirith box is about 6 to 7 inches tall and about 3 to 4 inches accross the base at its widest point approximately. I would think that Minas Morgul will be about the same size.

I don\'t know but after having seen it I think it was a big mistake to exclude it. I went straight out the next day after having watched it and bought the GW mini of it.

I watched the first disk of the film and teh first disk of extras...

I\'m happy with almost all of the new/lenghtened scenes, but... WHY LEGOLAS AND GIMLI HAD TO HAVE A BEER-DRINKING COMPETITION!? AND WHY THE DWARF FARTS AND BURPS LIKE THAT? It\'s not so \"epic\" :(

the extra is absolutely a great disk, with a lot of info and i love to see how the weapons/costumes/miniatures were created!

about the mouth of sauron, it\'s in the extended version, and in the extra mr.PJ said he\'d have liked to put his mouth VERTICALLY but they had not enough time... it\'s a bit weird IMO, isn\'t it?

we saw those models at Target, in that set, and they are small. too small for minis but a wicked sweet backdrop for LOTR minis

I\'ll just tell you about this one bit;

Frodo and Sam are facing some Orcs and then this big Orc says \"I am your father\" and then Frodo screams \"Nooooooooo\" and pulls out his lightsabre and so does Sam and all the Orcs too.
Then there\'s this huge lightsabre battle and it\'s totally awesome and there\'s blood and stuff everywhere and then Gandalf\'s disembodied voice says \"Use the Force Frodo\" and Aragon rides in on a giant eagle and says \"You\'re all clear kid. Now let\'s blow this thing and go home\"....

Oh no, wait, I think I got that wrong.....
