I could post this on the proper game forum, but I would rather not. I went to a tournament for a game. There are pretty strict conversion rules, so I thought I would e-mail the person running the tourney and ask about the legality of my models. I was told I could not use them. Fine, those are the rules of the tourney format. Nuff said.
So I get to the tourney and out of 20 some players only 3 players had painted armies(I had the the only fully painted army). The rest where primered or bare metal. That sucked, but there where no mandatory paint rules. There where rules about people having fully assembled models. I did see a number of armless torso on the board. Then a freind of the oturney organizer askes the permission to use a converted model that was illegal under the rules. He was allowed to. The final straw was looking over against an opponet who was using another type of model that the organizer deemed illegal and told me I could not use.
Perhaps I am looking to start something, but I realy feel like I was given a BS deal. I had an ok time, but it sucks to play against silver armies no matter how fun my opponets where.
