I have an attached keyboard case (Newtrent model) when the blue tooth connection stops the ipad keyboard pops up on screen and will not allow me to remove it til the bluetooth keyboard is reattached which then forces the screen keyboard to go away.
I had this issue too with a logitech keyboard. I found that submerging both in mineral turpentine solved the problem and I now have more time to paint miniatures
