Is Mad Ivan (the halloween promo) a promo for Rum and Bones?

I see there was a promo with Halloween, called Mad Ivan. Is that a figure for Rum and Bones or is it for the older Ron and Bones version? In the picture is has a different base than all other Rum and Bones miniatures.

The Halloween Mad Ivan is a promo model for the Rum and Bones boardgame. Its a Resin version of the game-piece and will require assembly.

I picked it up. It's the same size as the recent board game. As CMON mentioned, it will require assembly and ideally painting. Comments, the handle of the torch, where it sticks out of the hand is very brittle. I was trying to clean off some mold marks and broke it off. Glued it back on, no worries, but it is a bit brittle in my opinion. Also not a big deal, the feet are not flat. Good basing should handle that or I may try the old boiling water trick to level them out.

I'm doing it for my son who likes R&B. I think it will end up really cool.

Hey CMON, I'm new to miniature painting. I am trying to assemble this model. My hobby shop recommended Citadel super glue because it glues everything. Ok, it doesn't glue this model. It dries, but it doesn't stick. What kind of glue should I be using?

Citadel offers multiple types of glue: Thin Super Glue, which is meant for metals, Plastic Glue, which is...well namesake... And Thick Super Glue, which is multi-purpose.

The Mad Ivan model is Resin, so plastic and metal glue arent going to do you much for it. Standard super glue, like Zap a Gap, or the kind you'd get at any retail/hardware store, should be fine.

Thanks, I have the thick Citadel super glue. In the end, I held the touch in place for a long time and it finally set. Maybe this clue is designed to dry slowly, either way the model is primed. The arms seem firmly attached. Looking forward to the next steps.
