Brush Problems :/ ........
Also I have VERY shitty paint brushes (Wal-Mart cheapo's). It seems like my very fine tipped small brushes for detail all have stray bristles going off of the tips, which cause me to make mistakes. If that makes any sense
. I just bought a decent detail brush from my local hobby shop for about $5.00 U.S., only to get home and take off the round plastic protector for the tip with the bristles and see that it had been pushed down to bend all the bristles back and mess them all up!
I tried straightening them out and cutting some strays off with the x-acto hobby knife and it still has some that stick out on the tip and mess me up. I'm scared to use scissors on the end and mess it up even more.
As you can see I used this brush for outlining my hardlines with a light grey and it looks terrible. I know i could make it look better with a brush that didnt have the stray bristles like that.
Can anyone tell me what kind of brush to buy and where, that isn't horribly expensive, or a safe way to kinda fix the ones I have. I dunno if anyone has ever had n e sort of problem like this with there brushes or if its just me lol. It is very annoying!
Thanks for all the help in advance, I look forward to being a part of these forums and learning more and more.
