Steamcrow, it was pretty good but a pity that the budget limited the film scenes - too many repeats of the same clips

Not sure any alien invasion would work in RW, but it might be fun to work out a HG Wells style variant - the aliens would look sleeker, be fewer in number but more pwerful?

As an aside have you seen the Big Stompy Robot from Mantic's Mars Attacks? I backed the KS and ended up with a few and wonder about converting one for use in RW? The claw arm works jus need a Steam Punk style weapom for the oother arm - I was thinking about a steam driven gatling type weapon.

I would love something like this. I have been playing with the idea of a multi-faction army to fight a foreign foe, but lack of models makes this tough. Zombie invasion was the first idea, using Clockwork units, plague troopers, and other such things as "Zombies" and you need to use a multiple functioned team to fight them off.

I think doing a small expansion with war of the worlds designed faction would be really cool. However, they would have to be slightly overpowered as a faction so that a player could use all other human factions against it.

I can so imagine a small expansion pack on this with chibi/rivet style alien, maybe all dome topped similar to munchen.
I'm sporadically building some custom terrain/buildings that we've been using instead of tank traps, I think a crashed saucer as an objective may have to be included. All going well, pics soon.
FYI scratch building a rivet themed and scaled landing craft is much harder than expected!

That's an interesting video, thanks for sharing! I'm not sure Rivet Wars needs an Alien Invasion story arc. Surely, there's enough goings on on the war torn world of Rivet? Besides, Dr Vaune managed to open up a parallel gate for Atomic Robo to pass through! I'd rather see what the Hajame Hegemony and the Barbary States have to offer before this barrel is scrapped.

What? What do you mean? Are these apart of the Automic Robo Universe or are these definite expansion ideas I missed.

Lol, nothing definite. But you're not going to portray japan without touching giant mechs and nge or gundam wing!

You should check out Atomic Robo, theyve done some 'free comic book day' sheets the last few years. It's really gunho and slightly barmy! Great stuff.
