I particularly like some of the \"flats\". I think that would be something fun to try out a bit more.
My highest rated mini here is essentially a flat.

Most of the stuff is very stellar.

I wonder if flats would be a good transitional thing to paint for a decent 2-d canvas painter. It would seem many, if not all of the techniques would apply quite well.

The flats are pretty impressive, it would be interesting to try. I just saw this one:
