Hello! As some folks around these parts know, I've been putting together a new miniature range over the last year or so, with the aim of making really high quality resin miniatures. Initially they will all be at 32mm and are sculpted by some of the best guys out there.

Well, I've finally got my website online (http://www.infamyminiatures.com) and model number one is cast up and ready to ship out in a limited first run of 260.

Painted by: Stephan Rath (derwish)

I'm hoping people like what they see and I'd love to hear a bit of feedback about the first model and/or the website. :)

I've created an Infamy Miniatures account to put pictures on this site (http://www.coolminiornot.com/artist/Infamy+Miniatures?browseid=1265750) and keep them separate from my personal gallery, but I'm not sure if I'll start posting in the forums under that account too... I think I'll stick with Lono for general rambles, but I may make future news posts as Infamy Miniatures.

Oh, and you can also see the Infamy Miniatures Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/infamyminis and follow on Twitter at https://twitter.com/infamyminis

Hey Tim, I've got one put aside for you. I'm getting very excited about Salute now, although I have sooooo much I need to do this week before I can chill out and have a fun Saturday of hobby geekery. :) There's a picture of me on my site http://www.infamyminiatures.com/about.php so just give me a shout if you see me wandering around. I'll also post in a relevant thread later this week about meet up type stuff and see what everyone's planning on doing.

Thanks for the kind words Emerett. :)

It's been said many times by my girlfriend and I in the months since I came up with the name. In fact it was a deciding factor in making that choice! :D

Tim, I'll hunt you down. May need a better reference than your eyeball to help me spot you though. ;)

So I'm looking for a guy with a cannon attached to his groin. Shouldn't be too tricky to spot. :) Mike/Dragonsreach - you out there? Still wanting me to bring you a couple of models too?

All the orders so far will go out first thing on the morrow. Hurrah!

In the meantime, I have stuck up a preview teaser of the second Infamy miniature on my facebook page, so you should all go there, take a look and like my page! :) http://www.facebook.com/infamyminis

:worship!::worship!::worship!::worship!::worship!::worship!::worship!::worship!:

James she's lovely.
Fran's comment at inspecting the figure last night..."She's got some crisp detail there, she'll paint up nice!"

Thanks dfb, there are more on the way soon. I've been adding jigsaw piece type snippets of Sherlock Holmes to my facebook page so if you like that sort of thing take a gander.

Phew! I'm glad you like her Mike. It was great to have a proper chat to you at the weekend and congrats on doing so well with your entry. Very nice stuff.

It's so ridiculously scary handing over my models in person in case she isn't up to expectations. I know I like her, but I'm pretty attached to the whole project, so I'm dead pleased you think she's up to scratch. Once you get her painted I'd love to take a look. I must find some time to paint her too. I can't believe I've got my own model range out and haven't painted the first release. Terrible stuff!

Already looking forward to Euro Militaire and have started to plan some entries, including so far unreleased Infamy miniatures as a little set. :)

James for Euro-Militaire, Do try to do a Larger scale figure if you can find on to suite your taste.
While there were a number of 28mm figures last year (mine mostly) in other categories the Fantasy Category was the one mostly filled with 28mm. Most of the others were 75mm and above.
Oh and the judging is good and constistant but Tough.

Yup, I've worked out what I'm going to enter already and plan on pushing myself and doing this awesome Pirate from Andrea for class 20 - http://www.andrea-miniatures.com/_carro/AspsProductos/Detalle.asp?IdProductoDetalle=1539

I'm also going to make a model from scratch at 120mm for class 24 and paint it up, as well as the set of Holmes and Watson for class 23.

Finally, the model for Talullah is a digital sculpt, which means I have the freedom to get it printed at whatever scale I fancy, so that gives me yet another large scale option. I could actually enter that as a joint entry between me and the sculptor in class 24 if I get his permission, but I'd best just make sure I get at least one entry sorted first though! :D

I know I'm going to have to go so far above and beyond anything I've done before to do well at EM, but I'm excited by the prospect.

HA!!! MIKH - I knew it, I knew you'd have him doing something for you!!! Male intuition - puts womens in the shade lol. My favourite mini sculptor. I hassled him about his latest projects a while back when you started this but his lips were tightly sealed. Very nice figure!!!
