Looking for contructive comments on this one as well. I realize that some blacklining would help, but I have been painting and converting for close to a year and was hoping I was improving better than it appears taht I am. The Deathwatch Marines are mine as well and comments on those are welcome too!

Ok, so, here it goes...

It seems that you used a bit too much washes on your fig, wich at 54mm scale, doesn\'t look that good.

Also, the blending has to be a bit more subtle, although it seems that the sword had a smoother effect than the rest of the model. Using reference material on tiger stripes wouldn\'t had been a bad idea.

:( The problem is the Tiger Stripe pattern is a fairly good copy from a picture of a tiger skin in an article about poaching I came across.
Otherwise, I agree that my blending technique needs a lot of work and that the sword was a happy accident.;)

I went looking for your Rogue Trader and could not find it.

So I spent time looking at your other models.

Here is some feedback on them.

Deathwatch Crimson Fist Marine
http://www.coolminiornot.com/index.php?id=2309 Nice basic paint job though the face appears a bit messy (could be the pic). Too much ink on the shoulder pad, try several highlites and then tie them in with a thined ink.

Lesser Daemon

The Zoanthrope head is a nice touch. Though the issue this model has is a lack of detailing, buckles and rivits at this scale should be easily picked otu and painted.

So far the best of your posted paint jobs. Unfortunatly the issue for the model is the fuzzyness of sections of the image. The head and right arm are fuzzier then the rest of the model though it looks like you put more work into this one than your others.

Cool conversion, should say something when the head of an eldar fits this scale model. The rips in th suit could use some highliting, the blades could use the non metalic method especialy at this scale.

This is intended as constructive I hope it has helped.
