Maybe its a cost issue, but why would you go through all the trouble to convert it that way an NOT make it wireless?

There is that appeared in WD that is wireless, although it is a 4-up on the 40k model so not the right size for the gaming table.

It\'s certainly not the worlds first rc landraider unless he did it a few months after the thing came out originally. Making it wireless is neither particularly expensive or hard. I\'ve seen better...

I was going to do something similar with a predator using the partd from an ickle rc Mk1 Tiger. the turret rotated and when you pressed a button on the controller it made a bang noise and recoiled. In the end I got so attatched to the tiger I couldn\'t bring myself to kill it.

Back when the raider was released I knew someone who did the whole rc thing to his. The on off switch and battery were hidden behind the assault ramp and it could go a fair bit faster than that one seems to. He also lit the headlamps and lascannons. Later on when the chaos tracks were released from FW he begged a few spare tracks off me and separated and linked them so his had original tracks complete with aquila links. Only problem was he painted it Space Puppies
