Hi. I went premium today. The help I have had from people on this site has helped me progress and enjoy my painting so much. The gallery is always there for me to drool over and spend time with when I am bored at work. There is so much talent and willing to help here. CMON is a great place to be involved.
Over the last year or so, I've been busy moving house, getting married, getting shot of terrible jobs and trying to find new ones before the bills piled up too high - I haven't painted anything for display since my last entry. I really felt like I had started to get somewhere with that mini. I especially remember "juices" and blending starting to make sense and fall into place with my Typhus thread, although I have yet to practice it and really put what I have started to learn to good use. This is all old news to most of you and I doubt anyone will remember it, or me as I've been quiet for so long.
Anyway, I'm finishing painting some tabletop (TT) stuff and when it's done some time in November I am going to settle down and do some more display painting. It will either be an Orc Shaman that's stood under a glass jar for six months waiting for me to make progress on him, or Joek's Cirae mini which is waiting for me on the shelf. Just a few more TT minis to go and then I am free to lavish way too much time on single minis again, which I really love to do.
I doubt I will improve as much again as I have since I first arrived, but as I keep coming back and enjoying myself time and time again - well it looks like I'll be staying around, so time to support the site.
Thanks CMON.
