I\'m about to devastate the the new devastators

Having some serious dificulty assembling GW\'s new marine devastator figs. Not sure why, but the metal ones were easier to put together than these. The arms don\'t seem to match up with the torso, like there\'s too much space between them and I cant get them on without puting the figs in odd positions. Not going to be a problem to green stuff the gaps, but I want to know if I\'m doing something wrong first. Anyone else notice this problem? or am I screwing up because I lost the directions?

who needs \'em anyway?:D

i rememebr having problems with recent and past marines. i think some bodies are jsut made for a specific set of arms.

i would blue tac the arms together as pairs and see which body each fits with. its annoying when they make specific arms for specific bodies in a model hobby, but you can always mod them.

haven\'t tried these new Devs (got 3 sets of old Long Fangs) and can\'t see the components on their website anymore so cant really tell anything about the new sprues.

looking at the picture GW provides i can\'t tell any real example of a specific arm-body set, but it doesn\'t mean some bodies were made for certain weapons.

the directions shouldn\'t be needed. but the arms for the missle launcher for exampel must be paired correctly and probably the multi-melta has a specific set of arms. i would jsut try figring which arms go with which if ened be and possible by the box or by GW\'s site. :(

You need the match the correct left arms. You can tell which one is correct as they have different hole slot. The easiest way is to glue both arms together and then glue the entire setup to the body and at the same time position the backpack.

Also, the heavy bolter figure is the easiest one. So do two of those. The las cannon is the most painful.

You need to look at which arms are put with the weapons on the sprue, its ok if you do what I do, which is cut them out in one, straight into boxes, and work from there, if not, leave it on the sprue as you build them.
