I am not Blind!!!!!!Update on my eyes

Any one who read my post last week knows I was dealing with some serious eye issues. I was so fearful it was related to my Dibetes. Well I thought I would respond with an update.

When I first started having the problems I thought it would affect my painting or worse yet that my mother was right...I would go blind from doing that!!!

My eyes have been feeling better but I went to an eye doctor today none the less. It seems the problems I was having are related to having dry eye which can serisouly affect your eyes including watery eyes, blured vision and tired eyes. He did an extensive check of my eyes and everything is related to this and I have no damage what so ever to my eyes with the dibetes and I have 20/20 vision.

So I wanted to say thanks for all the positive words and now I can paint once again, more importantly I can....well um never mind.

I am ever so glad you are alright

for my diverse populations class this semester I had to go blind for 3 hours and do several everyday things blind....it was really really hard.

it really put it in perspective for me.

I have been blind for 24 hours twice. Once with hot fat in the eyes and once after clods of dirt got in there and they thought i may have scratced the lenses (and i thought having a dirt fight sounded like such a good idea lol ).
I wouldn\'t want that permanately thats for sure.

Beowulf glad to hear that your visions OK. Take care of your eyes they have to last you a lifetime.

I know how sensitive eyes can be.
As a puppy my dog managed to scratch my cornea one morning. Hurt like F***!
What\'s worse I was at my parents and couldn\'t drive the 150 miles home.
Problem was. the other eye shut in sympathy. (Which as Fran was driving might have been a good thing lol.
Oh I\'m in so much trouble lol lol .)
