Cannoness W/ Retinue
(nessessity) gives 3 faith points as well as the cannoness able to take \"litanies of the faith\" four a free faith test. Rember to take the Imagifyer if you are going to mount these models in a veichle.
Ordo Inquisitor Lord
Nice if you are playing lots of points to give you access to the Land Raider and Orbital Strike....
Priest
Another Nessesity to the army if you want to take any non-sister Unit. However it MUST be attached to a unit and he is always to have considered moved... I place him with Zealots (chapter approved) or with repentia if there are enough points on the table
Celestials
Yes- Nuff Said The are full SM stats and give a faith point just being on the table.no need to make a Vet supprerior here because unit causes faith not model
Agro Flaggrents
Every time I use them I getr my points worth out of them, Sure They kill themselves off... but I have yet have lost them uselessly... D6 power wepon attacks and a fleet of foot... makes them worth the points just remember any 6 kills them...
Repentians...
I like them, they are cool models and they can pack a punch IF they can live that long... THey get shot up on the way there and attack last in HtH however they take out tanks NICE... Just 20 points each is a bit much for them
Adaptus Soritus - Sisters
YES as many of these as you can get on the table... Bolters and Flamers Oh My (remeber your prayers and these are AP 1 on Wound rolls of 6\'s) I take units of the full 20 - ignore the imagifyer here, waste of points for what this unit is for.
Inquestal Guards
Occasionally- These are cheep and Iuse them the hold table corners, they are not your shock troups although 10- for 100pts makes them usefull in support rolls, just remember they are guard stats with nicer armor.
Zealots
MEAT SHIELD 5 point a model 20 models in a group I like these in higher point games, just dont expect them to last long once they get involved in a battle.
Domination Squad -
Overlooked by most... Something about a unit with 5 flamers or 5 Meltas or 5 storm bolters.. that just say die... These must be mounted I put them in the immolator... Twin Linked heavy flamers reroll wounds... take the imagifyer to get the AP ones rolls
Seraphims...
Death in FLight... MUST HAVE... Take meltabombs and twin hand flamers... target tanks these are your best tank busters in the game... no need to make a Vet supprerior here because unit causes faith not model
Exorists...
1d6 St:8 Ap:1 everything is a penatrating hit... however it never seams to give me the punch I need when I want it... the D6 is a drawback count it as only one missle a round when planning stradigy...
Retribution Squad-
Most realable heavy unit and it gives faith, and allows your multimeltas and heavy bolters... in a unit of 9 they are effective to stop some veichles... However I like to mount them in Immolators... The twin link multimelta or Heavy bolter choice for ranged support...
Orbital Strike
Nice if you can easily count on one piece of terrain as being critical... Stay away from the anti-pscionic torpido its alot of pointts for one or two modles in an army... Against Thousand suns is an exption but a rare one.... G for the lance strike S10 Ap1 Ordiance to get the full effect of the strike.
Pentitent Engines - AWSOME... But opened topped... Die as quick as Sentinals... HOWEVER get them into ranks of Troups and they are ruthless... you need to take a full squad though to give yourself a chance with them in combat...
this is my opinion of course.. In the last 5 Rouge Traders I have lost 1 of the 15 battles Masqicured 6 times and strong win 5 and marginal Victory 4 times...
My only advice is to watch out for Nurgle thier To:5 can take its toll in hand to hand with your st:3
