Hey,
I was wondering how to paint a checkered after fading away, but instead of fading away into nothing, i was wondering how to make it fade away into a Red
If it helps i am using GW paints
...And it is for armour

Cheers,
Sorry i don\'t have an example to post on.

If I\'m understanding you correctly, you want the \'checkerboard\' to fade into a solid colour?
What colour is the checked pattern going to be using?

Correct Naukhel,
My solid colour is going to be Red, and the Checkerboard colours are black and white.
It sounds \'wacky\' but i have seen it once before pulled off really well:)

Paint checkerboard.
Glaze with red, building up until sufficient (use an airbrush if you have it).
Sit back and admire handiwork.

Just a thought - you might have great difficulty glazing red over black. Perhaps do some glazing over a smaller patch with a mix of grey and red first. Then do the red.

@ritual: It could be orange juice, could you tell us how it tastes? :D
