How to make Blood Drip Effects

Here's how I make Blood Drip Effects. sorry for dark photos

1.Have a painted mini (here's my warboss done in 30 minutes...)

2.Starting the Blood 2:1:1 Tamiya Clear Red: Delvan Mud: Badab Black
2a. Picture of Clear Red...

3. Paint blood where nessecary.

4. Get a noodle (really...) Thin noodle like in Asian soups... You could use fishing line, but I like the noodle more becuase you dip it in boiling water and its felixble and drys stiffer than the line.

5. Superglue it to where you want the blood to drip.

6. Wait (for a long time...)

7. Drip the Tamiya Clear Red done the noodle. It will dye it and pool at the bottom...

8. Wait for it to dry.

I've seen people do this with fishing line but never an actual noodle. Interesting, and if your hungery you can eat your mini!

Interesting technique using noodles! You can achieve similar results by mixing glue with the Tamiya Red to get some nice 'stretchy' gooey strands

@GeneriUser - Tamyia is thicker than ink and is therefore easier to build up into 'drips'. It comes in lots of cool colours such as green, yellow and blue and is great for coloured glass and gooey pools and so on Smells a bit though and you sometimes need to use a Tamyia solvent to clean the brush.

I have been wondering how this effect could be achieved. The only other option would be to mix some really thick epoxy and color it.

Not really, Tamiya Clear Red is thicker than red ink and more bloodly.

Yes, but that takes longer than making the noodles.

Expoxy MIGHT work, not sure because the would make the model kinda messy.
