How does one get into casting?

Well, I\'ve been painting/modeling/scupting for several years now and I recently won several thousand dollars at the casino(GO ME!!) so I think it\'s time to expand my horizons. But I really know nothing about casting. How should I go about starting? What will I need? HELP!

Also look for some books. I got quite a good one (although I am yet to start casting). I\'m afraid I can\'t remember the title. I\'ll try to find it and post the title if you like/I can find it.
