I am working on the GW Balrog. WHat I want to know is should I be highlighting it with lighter greys....on places like the lava rocks on its back, the wing ribbing & joints, the knuckles and knees and shines and arms and and and.......Where do I draw the line at what to highlight. I am afraid If I highlight every edge it going end up looking stripey ! I am also considering doing OSL work on it........can anyone envision what I might end up with ?

I don\'t know about balrog. the color scheme is kind of bad to begin with. What I would do is highlight with browns, reds and oranges where the skin is close to the flames. Thats all the help I can give on this one.

I agree. It will help maintain consistency within the figure. Just be sparing with those brighter highlights (except around the flames if you chose to go with OSL).

Keep the gray hilights subtle and you should be fine.

The OSL would be neat, haven\'t seen one done like that before I don\'t think... but then Balrogs tend to look the same unless you get a good look at them :D

I say go for it, should be a fun project!

I\'m sorry, who are you agreeing with...? (just to be clear)
