Highlighting Help

Hi,new to this site and i was wondering if anyone could help me, i am following the step by step guide for chaos mauraders of the gw website and have done the base coat and the wash with devlin mud, but it talks about highlighting and i am not sure how to do this, is it a watered down mix of tallern flesh for the skin, and jus pick out the promient area\'s?

any help appreciated

Look at it this way :

You\'re wearing a hat, and the sun is directly over head. Is your face going to be darker underneath the hat, or lighter?

Survey says : darker. Highlighting is basically taking into account the projected lighting of the model (basically, picking an area around it and saying \"The light is shining from -this direction-\") and making sure that all the parts that are closest to that imaginary light source are a little brighter in colour than things that are on the opposite side, or in a \'valley\' on the model, where a natural shadow would be.
