Well, here it is:

miniaz0.jpg

The red in the cloth has some shading, the deeper parts were painted with a brownish mixture of red an green and the highlights with a bit of orange. I am not sure if it\'s enough. (The camera flash may have affected the picture, though... It looks better \"in person\").

The gems were painted with gloss blue. The gold was painted with... Well... Gold paint.

I need help regarding the eyes, howt to shade the white areas and maybe the hair and skin.

For the ones who didn\'t see my previous post in a different section, I use enamel, not acrillycs (so, direct references to GW color coding doesn\'t tell me much, I don\'t know what they look like). I use mostly Humbrol (and some Revell, cuz\' they are cheaper).

Hopefully, I can get help.

bloody hell, he\'s a lot better than i thought he would be!!

i have 2 suggestions:

up the contrast, especially the shading (some dark lining would work well where the different cloths meet)

some bits are a bit untidy, eg the edges of the robe/cape

Agreed - the way you were talking I thought it was gonna be a big shiny blob - that\'s not half bad.

I\'ll agree with freak - generally the most given tips on the forums are;

\"thin your paints\"
and
\"thin your paints\" :D

(BUT - That doesn\'t mean make them so watery they are effectively washes)

Well, I am glad to hear that. Thanks for the feedback.

About the dark lining... I\'ve seen that used to separate places like the hand and the weapon meet or in the joints. I wonder what is the best color for the line? I am thinkning of 3 options: black, grey (to match the shading on the cape) or reddish brown (to match one on the robe). I am leaning towards reddish brown. Is that good?

Both would be my answer.
Blue/grey on the white making it stronger closer to the juntion of the two colours and the Red brown on the red in the same manner.
