Help with Vallejo Matt Varnish

Howdy Y'all.

I have been painting up a model, I have almost finished... I used my airbrush and put a layer of vallejo gloss varnish down as a base layer, and then intended to put a layer of matt varnish down to dull down the shine... I have done this before on another model and it worked fine, but this model is still overly glossy... Any tips/ideas?

As you can see, this is after 2 attempts of putting down a matt layer from my airbrush and it is still pretty glossy ¬¬

Did you try to shake your Varnish? I have the same problem with citadel black wash, it was really glossy. My friend told me to shake it hard before use and it worked.

Buy a can of Testor's Dullcoat. Spray onto effected model. BOOM! Instant super matt finish. Re-gloss any desired glossy areas with brush on gloss varnish.

* Make sure to VIGOROUSLY shake the Testor's stuff before use, and spray in short sweeping bursts allowing each layer to dry completely before continuing in a VERY WELL ventilated area.
