Help with Matte Varnish

Hi guys. I recently learned that Matte Varnish can protect your mini\'s from chipping, so I bought a can and am spraying some of my mini\'s.
I came across a mini with gloss varnish on parts of him for a shiny effect, and I was wondering if the Matte Varnish will affect the gloss varnish in any way? If it takes the shine away or something can I put it back on?

Thanks very much =)

Yep, you can re-gloss where you want.

I always spray Dullcoat after I finish, and when that dries, I go back over the gems with gloss, and armor with satin (both brush on).

Where would you go about buying testor\'s dull coat as well? internet is my friend or might I find it somewhere more drive convenient...

Vallejo has a Gloss, Satin and Matte brush on sealer in their VGC case, and I\'m sure they sell each individually.

I also have another type of Satin brush on, but I can\'t recall the name. It\'s a small clearish bottle with blue lettering... if that helps ;) I picked it up at HobbyCraft, which is a store that sells a LOT of models, trains, etc. I\'ll try to remember to look it up when I get home for lunch, if you wanna know :)

I also buy my Dullcoat at HobbyCraft. So I have no idea where you\'d be able to get it online :(

if u spray matt varnish over gloss it will take the shine away but if u paint gloss back over i dont really no

when i do this kind of thing i spray the mini with purity seal then get a tank brush and paint a thin coat of matt varnish

but dont put loads on otherwise it will lose some of the detail on the model

hope this helps:drunk:
