The red is where i think it is too dark here are the mixes i used:

DA Green
DA Green / Snot Green (75/25)
DA Green / Snot (50/50)
DA Green / Snot (25/75)
Snot
Snot / Goblin (75/25)
Snot / Goblin (25/75)
Goblin
Goblin / Bleach Bone (75/25)

It dont look like it but ive really tried to do my best on this one :D

Basically any advice guys?

Thanks

A good way to find out where the shadows fall and where the darkest areas should be is to hold the mini directly under a strong lamp and look closely. Then paint what you see. It\'s surprising sometimes which parts are light and which are dark. I think you\'re going in the right direction, tho. It looks like the broadest part of the cloak with the vines on needs to be lighter, and the \"tail\" at the end needs to be lighter still. With the contrast, you can smooth transitions out with a wash, but remember that shadows on sharp folds can have sharp transitions and high contrast! (It\'s something I struggle with too- I feel your pain!)

It also looks like you\'ve got a highlight running along the bottom edge of the cape, where no light would naturally fall. Makes it look a little odd. Anywho, check where your highlights should be, and see what you can come up with.

Another good tip is to remember to keep your very lightest highlghts for the highest parts of the mini (i.e., head and shoulders). It seems to help to give the impression of greater scale and height.

Ok ill remove the highlight along the bottom edge makes sense. The comment about the cape being lighter around the leaves is what i was looking for. The way im thinking is working up to snot around that area should reduce the contrast some what.

Does that sound about right?
