ok, I\'d love to help but are you saying you want to highlight a dark green and still keep it dark?

I kinda had this problem, too.. Dark Angels green when put over white it too light, and put over black, it\'s too dark. I used a dark grey before I painted it and it came out looking good. Another method would be to paint black over white, but only in the shadows and paint green over it, thus giving it depth without using a lot more colors!

Tammy Haye and I both did a similar color scheme on some recent Nurgle figs.

I used Black, Scorched Brown, blended up a Catachan Green lookalike (Vallejo Russian Uniform Green) and then blended up to Bleached Bone before doing some black/green/brown glazes to get the color a bit darker again. I should point out that this is a different pic than the one I have posted here, I didn\'t notice until after it was posted that the color balance wasn\'t right, and it\'s not worth losing comments over replacing it :D

Tammy went straight from black to Catachan Green, blended to Bleached, then did a couple more glazes to produce the darker effect than mine.

Both look cool when finished, and neither is really that difficult IMO because there are so few colors involved.
