If this isnt - what on the site in question around that price would be a good camera for mini picture taking...

i got the fine pix s8000fd and im very happy with it doe,s everything i need the macro is very good to point where i can take pics of the dust on my keyboard!!
im no expert but i would recomend it to any1

my finepix is way older than either of yours, but it is great for macro and the 12x optical zoom is great. If it only did not have the \'standard\' shutter delay of the PHD camera.
