Help - Basing Large Elven Chariot

Hi. New to the board and already demanding answers.


I\'ve been painting minis on and off for along time now but the largest one ive tackled was a Minotaur so no trouble with basing as the one supplied was sufficent.

However a friend of mine has had the old citadel Elven chariot gathering dust for along time and he has just asked me to paint it for him. It will be good experiance as there is alot of components to paint.

However my main trouble is getting my head around making a decent base. I\'m not looking for anything fancy. I just want something that follows the line of standard bases for smaller GW minis as it will be a gaming piece. The painting and texturing of the base I can handle it\'s just the construction.

What do others here use for the larger vehicle minis especial ones drawn by horses etc?

Though it appears I\'ve dupped the post. It was around when the site went a bit mad and crashed. I wasn\'t sure if it posted and I thought I was in the Painting & Conversions board so when I didn\'t see it there when the forum was back up I posted it again.
